Southern Ridges

Three hill parks joined by bridges and walkways above the forest, from Mount Faber over Henderson Waves to Kent Ridge.

Start with the Marang Trail behind HarbourFront: steps nearly all the way, but shaded, and twenty minutes to the top of Mount Faber, where the view opens over the harbour and the islands.

Henderson Waves is the highest footbridge in Singapore, 36 metres above Henderson Road. Its wooden ribs curl over the deck to make shelters to sit under, and it is lit from 7 pm.

After Telok Blangah Hill, the Forest Walk runs as a steel walkway through the tree tops to Alexandra Arch. HortPark, just beyond, has toilets, water and shade, and is the halfway point.

Kent Ridge Park at the end is the quietest part, with a canopy walk and a view down to the container port. The path then drops to Kent Ridge MRT.
